About hueday9

hueday9 is an app where a color of the day is decided from the date, and you collect nine photos of that color to complete a 3×3 page. By using the app you are treated as having agreed to the terms below. There is no account registration and no age verification, so please read this before you use it.

Network and accounts

hueday9 has no server of its own. There is no login or account creation. The photos you take and the pages you finish are stored on your device. Only when the device is signed in to iCloud are copies of finished pages also stored in your own iCloud. That backup is the only time the app uses the network, and every feature works offline. To stop it, open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, go to iCloud, and turn hueday9 off.

Prohibited use

Please refrain from the following.

Rights to photos and share cards

The rights to the photos you take, and to the pages and share cards you complete, belong to you. The developer of hueday9 never holds them or uses them elsewhere (the iCloud backup lives in your own area, which the developer cannot reach). Whether and where to share is always left to your own action through the iOS share sheet.

Warranty and liability

hueday9 is run by a small operation and does not guarantee flawless behavior. If photos or pages are lost through device loss, hardware failure, or an OS update, hueday9 has no means of recovery. The iCloud backup sits in an area the developer cannot reach, so we can neither retrieve nor restore it for you. We recommend keeping important photos backed up separately using your device's standard backup features.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change alongside app updates. Significant changes will be announced in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in relation to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer's location as the court of first instance.
